The New London Inn, situated in the heart of the idyllic New England town of New London, has 24 rooms, a tavern and dining room, and a double-decker porch with mountain views. The building originated in 1792 and has changed ownership several times in the last 75 years. The new owners from New London Hospitality Holdings LLC, Dan Wolf and restaurateur Jerod Rockwell, are planning a major capital improvement program which will include the complete renovation of all rooms in the Inn. Rockwell is also the owner of the restaurant adjacent to the Inn.
The property at 116-121 Key Road in Keene consisted of a two acre site and a four story partially completed hotel which the buyer will demolish, per requirement by the city of Keene. The property is to be a future development site, and the transaction was executed swiftly since Wason had prompt communication with the buyers and the ability to craft a selling agreement in quick time.
“We are very pleased that Joe was able to successfully negotiate these two complicated transactions in a way that was beneficial for both the buyer and the seller,” states Earle Wason, President of Wason Associates. “In these challenging economic times, the associates within our group will continue to offer real value to our clients and customers through services that take advantage of our specialized skills, knowledge, and experience.”
