(Portsmouth, NH l August 10, 2021) – Wason Associates Hospitality Real Estate Brokerage Group is pleased to announce the successful sale of the Sunapee Lake Lodge to Lark Hotels, an Amesbury, Massachusetts-based developer, and operator. 

Larks Hotel purchased the property and will brand it as part of their “Bluebird by Lark” portfolio. The property closed on June 8, 2021. Joe Cardillo was the broker for Wason Associates that represented the seller and presented the property.  

The Sunapee Lake Lodge is situated in the beautiful Lake Sunapee region, a hidden gem that provides that perfect escape for New England residents. Centrally located at Mt. Sunapee on Route 103 in Newbury, New Hampshire, the Sunapee Lodge is located at the entrance of Vail Resorts’ Mount Sunapee ski resort and just a few minutes from the State Park Beach on Lake Sunapee.

Lark is in full swing with operations and plans to close down the hotel later this year for a full renovation and will be relaunched as a Bluebird Property by Lark.
